Our most popular module is widely regarded across the fitness industry as the premier training for yoga in the area. It attracts avid students seeking to deepen their practice, experienced yoga teachers who want to take their instruction to the next levels of depth and clarity, and other movement professionals who wish to add yoga to their teaching repertoire. Today, yoga exists predominantly in the context of movement, and this training teaches you how to move well and prevent injury, for the rest of your life.
We take a functional, evidence-based approach to yoga, rooted in a comprehensive understanding of the parts, as well as how the parts work together within the whole. You will learn to read bodies, discover the mysteries of your own, and clearly see the functional anatomy, kinesiology, and physiology behind the poses, in both active and passive yoga styles. You will not just identify the risks of injuries that come with different poses and movements, but you will understand them as clear as day, and you will know how to mitigate them, in order to build a safe, sustainable, and rewarding practice.
Each day involves hours of practice-teaching designed to build your confidence within the safe environment of the program, encouraging you to apply the knowledge gained that day.
On the last day, you will teach a full, one-hour private yoga class under our guidance, thereby seamlessly bridging your transition into real-life teaching.
You will finish this training stronger, intimately aware of your body, and inspired to share your love of yoga with skill and mastery.
