Women's Fitness over 40 - 6 week training with Kate Lokken

This class is located at our Basalt Performance Center
Join TAC trainer Kate Lokken for this 6 week Strength Training program for women that will simulate the personal training experience with a customized, individual approach for each participant in a small group setting.

The group will meet twice a week for six weeks, with the option of receiving weekly programming for at-home or flexible workouts. Throughout the program, you'll focus on mastering key movement patterns for strength training to ensure proper technique before progressing with heavier loads. In addition to strength training, we'll also emphasize joint stability, mobility, progressive overload, and jump training.

Here’s what you can look forward to in the program:

  • Body composition testing at the beginning and end of the program (optional)
  • A third workout assignment each week to complete independently
  • Repetition of movements to build confidence to execute routines on your own 
  • A supportive community of women navigating similar stages in life
  • A Functional Nutrition lecture with an expert in supporting women during perimenopause and menopause
