LomiLomi Fusion Course - 3 DAY MASTERCLASS with Kevin Lynch

Registration and Enrollment Exclusively on Eventbrite:

https://www.eventbrite.com/e/lomilomi-fusion-course-3-day-masterclass-tickets-1270766921069?aff=erelexpmlt

Loomilomi Fusion is a technique based on two main pillars:

1.Traditional Hawaiian Techniques

The first pillar of Lomilomi Fusion is rooted in the traditional techniques of Lomilomi, an ancient Hawaiian massage practice. These techniques were learned directly in Maui, Hawaii, where I trained under experienced Kumus (masters) Lomilomi is characterized by long, continuous, and rhythmic strokes, often compared to the waves of the ocean. These movements not only relax the muscles but also aim to promote the flow of vital energy (mana) and restore balance to the body and mind. The central philosophy of Lomilomi is the concept of aloha, which translates to love, compassion, and respect, and is a fundamental part of the healing practice.

2. Elements of Self-Creation:
The second pillar of Lomilomi Fusion involves incorporating techniques and elements of self-creation. This means that, in addition to traditional techniques, this approach allows practitioners to customize their sessions based on each client's specific needs. Elements of self-creation can include variations in pressure, rhythm, and additional techniques that complement traditional Lomilomi. This flexibility is essential for adapting the massage to the realities of the modern world, such as increased stress, sedentary lifestyles, and other contemporary health issues. Thus, Lomilomi Fusion is not just a technique but an art that allows for creative and individualized expression by the therapist.

Tools and Techniques

In the Lomilomi Fusion course, students will learn a sequence of 1hour of massage and learn how to use a variety of tools and techniques to maximize the effectiveness of the massage. This includes using hands, phalanges, forearms, elbows, and even feet. Each of these tools offers different levels of pressure and can be used to reach various layers of muscle tissue and body structures.

Course Objectives

This course is designed to provide a comprehensive understanding of Lomilomi Fusion, combining theory and practice to prepare participants for the effective application of the technique. The main objectives include:

  • Learning a sequence of 1hour massage
  • Learning and accurately performing traditional Lomilomi techniques.
  • Learning how to save your hands and thumbs by using forearm and elbow techniques
  • Understanding the holistic principles of healing and applying them practically.
  • Developing skills to address modern health and wellness issues, providing a unique and personalized massage experience.
  • Mastering the use of different body tools to offer specific and effective treatments.
