BOOK an in class PRIVATE ASSIST today!

WHAT IS AN IN-CLASS PRIVATE ASSIST?

During a regular scheduled class, you would have a private assistant support you through your whole practice with hands on assists. This is all done silently, so that you still hear all of the cues from the teacher of the class and the assistants hands land the cues that the teacher leads.

WHY SHOULD I BOOK A PRIVATE ASSIST?

Firstly, by getting individual support for every pose, you will learn the alignment and actions of the poses in a powerful way that lands in your nervous system immediately. Private assists are great if you are interested in improving your alignment of the yoga poses.

Secondly, touch is a powerful tool for healing on so many levels. You will feel supported in poses that you may have felt a little unsure in the past to let go and surrender stress and tension. You will be encouraged to go beyond your comfort zone in other poses to discover things you didn't know you could do!

Lastly, the full neck and shoulder massage in Savasana at the end of the practice is the best reason to book one!

HOW MUCH IS A PRIVATE? $35

HOW DO I BOOK ONE?

Email [email protected] with the day and time the class you would like an assistant and we will book it for you! We need at least a day to ensure we have an instructor ready for you.

In a Breathwork session you will breathe a circular breathing technique through your mouth that will support you in emotional balance, self-healing and self-growth. Traditional Thai Yoga Therapy, also known as, Nuad Boran, is an ancient beautiful sacred holistic art.
While it is a vital component of Traditional Thai Medicine, its beauty and power go far beyond medical theory or mechanical techniques. It is a form of communication, one body-being to another. It is a form of healing through compassionate touch and loving-heart-presence. It is play, it is serious medicine, it is art and dance.

I am excited to share this knowledge that was so generously shared with me through my teachers, whose flowing movements spoke deeply to my body, and who ignited in me a curiosity and subsequent in-depth study of Yoga and Ayurveda.

In this Level 1 Thai Yoga Training, participants will deepen their knowledge of Thai medicine and yoga and embody the intricacies of Thai history, culture and Buddhism. This training is rooted in loving-heart-presence, connection, communication, compassionate touch and service to others. Level One invites each participant to be fully present while creatively expressing and exploring yoga stretches, deep compression, Sen line (energy) work, soft tissue manipulation, myofascial release, joint mobilization and releasing techniques, while blending them into a seamless healing treatment.

This program has been created for everyone. Previous yoga or body work training is not required. Each day of this training is broken down into material that is easy to learn and moves through non stressful and safe postures, theory, proper body mechanics, leverage techniques while effortlessly applying pressure, energy work and insight to prepare each student to learn how to safely offer a 1 hour Traditional Thai Yoga Treatment.

This is a CEU credited program.
