I am excited to share this knowledge that was so generously shared with me through my teachers, whose flowing movements spoke deeply to my body, and who ignited in me a curiosity and subsequent in-depth study of Yoga and Ayurveda.
In this Level 1 Thai Yoga Training, participants will deepen their knowledge of Thai medicine and yoga and embody the intricacies of Thai history, culture and Buddhism. This training is rooted in loving-heart-presence, connection, communication, compassionate touch and service to others. Level One invites each participant to be fully present while creatively expressing and exploring yoga stretches, deep compression, Sen line (energy) work, soft tissue manipulation, myofascial release, joint mobilization and releasing techniques, while blending them into a seamless healing treatment.
This program has been created for everyone. Previous yoga or body work training is not required. Each day of this training is broken down into material that is easy to learn and moves through non stressful and safe postures, theory, proper body mechanics, leverage techniques while effortlessly applying pressure, energy work and insight to prepare each student to learn how to safely offer a 1 hour Traditional Thai Yoga Treatment.
This is a CEU credited program.
In a Breathwork session you will breathe a circular breathing technique that allows you to tap into your fight or flight response. This technique is different than other restorative or pranayama practices. It will give you access to un-stuff any stuck emotions or traumas, past or present that trigger you in your daily life. Breathwork isn’t easy, it will feel uncomfortable; however, all of the payoff lives in this uncomfortable space. Breathwork heals in so many ways and always delivers a powerful experience. Come with an open mind, leave with an open heart. This could change your life.

We’ll also work on funky transitions for getting into and out of these inversions (e.g., Crow to Headstand back to Crow, Wide-Legged Forward Fold to Wide-Armed Headstand, Firefly into Headstand and walking up the wall from a pike to a wall-facing Handstand).
