Foundations of Flight – A 60 min Handstand Workshop with Michele with Michele Moyer

Sun Date: Aug 17 2025 From: 11:30 AM - 12:30 PM
Ready to advance or begin your handstand practice? Join us for an energizing and supportive handstand workshop designed to help you build confidence, strength, and body awareness in your inversion practice.
We’ll begin with a warming salutation to awaken the body and prepare the mind. From there, we’ll move through targeted shoulder-opening stretches and mobility work to create the range needed for safe and aligned handstands.
The heart of the workshop will focus on drills to strengthen stabilizing muscles, build hand and wrist strength, and develop scapular integrity—essential components for balance and control in your inversion.
We will also discuss common causes of imbalance in handstands and specific ways to address those issues, helping you cultivate greater self-awareness and alignment in your body. Whether you're just starting to flirt with going upside down or already kicking up with ease, hopefully our time together will be impactful and encourage you to have more trust in your own two hands (upside down!).

90 Minute Restorative with Ashley Rathman

Fri Date: Sep 26 2025 From: 7:30 PM - 9:00 PM
Restorative Yoga is a gentle practice that allows the body to sink into gravity, to rest, and to restore. In this day and age, so many of us spend so much time doing, on too little sleep, all while caring for others. Restorative Yoga allows you to slow down, unplug, release tension and simply be present by drawing your awareness inward. Unlike Yin Yoga, which allows the body to lengthen tissue with perhaps some discomfort, Restorative Yoga is completely passive. In our 90 minutes together, we’ll use bolsters, blocks and blankets to help open the body and to sink into pure bliss! Restorative yoga is accessible for every body. If you have a favorite scarf, eye pillow, sandbag or blanket, please feel free to bring it! This practice will be led by Ashley Rathman and limited to 10 participants.
