Restorative Yoga Workshop with Sound Healing and Reiki with Claudia Bibow

Sat Date: Sep 06 2025 From: 5:00 PM - 7:00 PM

Treat yourself to the possibility of pausing your life and of creating the space to rest in your innermost serenity. The practices of restorative yoga will help your body to release tension, to calm your nervous system and therefor reduce stress levels. If you
experience chronic pain, the practice may help you to manage physical pain.

As you take respite your whole being softens and allows your breath to expand so that life force
energy starts flowing more freely throughout your body. Resting is healing. Restorative yoga is a very gently practice that teaches us kindness towards ourselves.

We will use blankets, bolsters, and blocks for support. As you repose in various yoga
shapes, Claudia will offer gentle assists and Reiki to promote a deeper sense of letting go.

Claudia will accompany the final resting pose known as Savasana by the sound and vibration of her crystal bowls. The healing power of sound guides you into a deeper state of relaxation and grants tapping into the space beyond your body.

Reiki is life force energy that cultivates a healing environment in your body. Through the laying on of hands this energy can balance and restore a person’s energy, remove blockages of energy and release low/negative energy. Sound healing is a holistic tool to heal the layers of our multidimensional being and to connect to the spiritual side of life.

The Four Pillars of Dharma with Hari-kirtana das

Tue Date: Sep 16 2025 From: 7:00 PM - 8:00 PM
The Four Pillars of Dharma:
How to live in alignment with changeless principles of cosmic order.
With Hari kirtana-das

In a rapidly changing world, connecting to something changeless is how to stay grounded. In the Bhagavad-gita, this is how Krishna helped Arjuna regain his sense of balance and purpose in the midst of chaos and confusion: by reconnecting him to the changeless principles of dharma. In this workshop, we'll explore the many meanings of "dharma," the four essential values that support dharma, and learn how to link who and what we are in this life to our eternal spiritual nature. You'll come away from this guided group discussion with practical tools for gaining a deeper sense of self-knowledge, raising your worldly awareness to a higher level, finding and focusing on your mission in life, and maintaining an unshakable sense of equilibrium in any situation.

There will be plenty of time for Q&A. Yoga teachers can receive one hour of CE credit from Yoga Alliance.

Echoes of Stillness: A Rhythmic Sound & Mantra Journey with Arjun Bruggeman

Sun Date: Sep 28 2025 From: 7:00 PM - 9:00 PM

Echoes of Stillness:
A Rhythmic Sound & Mantra Journey
with Arjun Bruggeman

Step into an immersive sound journey where rhythm and mantra become the bridge between the outer world and the vast, uncharted depths of the inner self. Through the primal power of percussive instruments—frame drum, tablas, and hung drum—we create a pulsing, textured soundscape that gently dissolves the surface noise of the mind, guiding you into a deep state of presence and release.

Set within an atmospheric space of warm lighting and intentional vibration, this experience begins with a brief guided meditation, inviting you to soften, to listen, to open. As the rhythms unfold, mantra becomes a vessel—repeating sacred sounds that anchor you in stillness while moving you beyond thought, beyond words, into pure being.

This is a deeply nurturing practice. The element of sound works through the body, unwinding held tension, clearing pathways of energy, and attuning you to the resonance of something greater. As you surrender into the pulse, a profound sense of grounding emerges—one that is not heavy but vast, expansive, and steady.

Emerge with a feeling of renewal, a quiet yet undeniable transformation. This is more than just an experience—it’s a remembrance of the stillness that is always within you.

Noah recorded and plays on Bodhiheart: Love Rules, Meditations for Cello and Piano, featuring Arjun Bruggeman on tablas and percussion. In 2024, he began working with groups and individuals, sharing heart-centered wisdom from his teacher Ram Dass, along with practices that allow us to truly be here now.

Claudia’s heart beats for the love of life. In her view, various yoga practices support us in releasing old patterns. They can help us to reconnect with that little something deep inside, that we might have lost sight of but that feels very familiar and known when rediscovered. The practices of Bhakti Yoga cracked her heart open and
allowed her own light to peek out into the world. Once on this path, there is no turning back. She feels forever grateful for all opportunities provided by the universe to expand her
awareness. For her credentials please click:

Ewa's yoga journey began in the vibrant energy of New York City, where she earned her YTT-200 certification in 2014. Her path took a transformative turn with travels to India for sacred pilgrimages, sparking a profound love for Bhakti Yoga. Under the guidance of Raghunath Cappo and Kaustubha Das, she deepened her studies, culminating in her YTT-300 certification. In February 2024, Ewa expanded her expertise with Restorative Yoga training, further enriching her ability to support students in deep rest and renewal.

Restorative Yoga Workshop with Sound Healing and Reiki with Claudia Bibow

Fri Date: Oct 24 2025 From: 5:00 PM - 7:00 PM

REGISTRATION:

5:00-7:00pm
$60.00 pre-registration required, limited to 10 spots

JAEL POLNAC, ERYT, Certified CE Provider

Jael has practiced yoga for over 30 years, originally finding it to be a useful way to decompress from her career as an environmental attorney in Washington, DC. Upon moving to Saratoga Springs in 2010, she became a dedicated student at Yoga Mandali. In 2011, her yoga practice took on a whole new meaning after a serious skiing injury and difficult rehabilitation. Instead of being a fun workout and way to release stress, yoga became integral to healing both her body and her spirit; a process which led her to pursue her yoga teaching certification at Yoga Mandali in 2016.

Jael has continued her education in the healing and therapeutic aspects of yoga by completing certifications in Yin/Insight Yoga with Sarah Powers; Traditional Chinese Medicine and Yin Yoga with Josh Summers; Yoga for Bone Health with Dr. Loren Fishman; Accessible Yoga with Jivana Heyman; Restorative Yoga (Levels 1 and 2) with Dr. Ann Saffi Biasetti; Yoga Sutra Study with Dr. Edwin Bryant; and Yoga for Posture Improvement with Julie Gudmestad, PT. In addition, she has studied Mindfulness Meditation, Ayurveda, Yoga Philosophy, and Mindfulness and Yin Yoga with Sarah and Ty Powers.

As a teacher, Jael approaches each class with awareness and sensitivity to the physical, energetic, and mental shifts that a thoughtfully crafted yoga sequence can bring to her students, and she uses her steady, centering energy to support them through any challenges in the practice. Jael has worked with beginners, athletes, experienced yogis, and individuals with significant health challenges and is open and responsive to the needs of her students.

She lives with her husband, Steve, with whom she shares three adult children and a house full of pets. When she’s not practicing yoga or teaching in person or online, she spends her time working on her historic home, gardening, reading, kayaking, and taking long walks.
