Crissy is a nature-loving, magic-seeking, intuitive healer with over 25 years experience in the field of healing arts.
Beginning with work as an RN, having children, completing her 200 hour YTT, then receiving certification as a Reiki Master-Teacher, she enjoys offering experiences that mend and nurture one’s spirit.
About Laurie Carr
Laurie is a proud Wife and Mother, a creative, intuitive, and a life-long seeker of knowledge. She is a nurturing soul that has a background in the medical field. A former Podiatric Assistant, EMT, and Operations Supervisor of a wheelchair transport service, Laurie has always sought ways in which to serve others.
An instinctual Sound Healer (whose certifications include accreditation from the Complimentary Medical Association) Laurie utilizes Tibetan Singing Bowls (on and off body), Crystal Singing Bowls, and Tuning Forks (on and off body), among other instrumentation, in private and group sound baths.
Laurie’s passion for the healing offered through sound and vibration is evidenced by the beautiful harmony she creates while in community.

About April Maple
April received her Bachelors and Masters in Flute Performance, is 200 RYT certified, and a somatic therapist in training at Naropa. Sound has been the original teacher of mindfulness and listening for April, and she has been leading sound healings since 2018. April uses a combination of Eastern and Western modalities, musical training, and a slow and gentle presence as tools to create a brave space for healing, feeling, and resting.

Mike Cohen & The Shakti Groove is comprised of Mike Cohen (vocals & harmonium), former professional saxophonist with over 25 years of chanting experience and founder of the Kirtan Leader Institute; Dawnia Dresser (vocals), a favorite local folk-rock artist; Michele Heaphy (vocals & harmonium), a lifelong musician and music educator; James Hoskins (cello), professional musician and member of Boulder’s “Sherefe” who performs his eclectic style of improvisatory music around the world; Bill McCrossen (bass), veteran of the NYC jazz scene with expertise in jazz, world music, and R&B and Ken Matarazzo (frame drums, cajon, riq), master percussionist who has studied and performed with groundbreaking American percussionist Glen Velez.
The group has collectively released four full length Kirtan albums and two EP’s of acclaimed music - all created with Grammy Award-nominated producer Ben Leinbach or Grammy winning producer Jeff Ciampa.
